This book invites the reader on a journey through the liturgical year, accompanied by the Gospel texts.
The foundational premise of the book is the joyful message of how the Creator of the universe has drawn near to humanity by becoming human Himself,
and how he continues to work among people to bring them fully and eternally into communion with Him.
The gospels are written accounts of how God, having become human in Jesus Christ, lived and acted on earth, and how He suffered, died,
and rose from the dead as the conqueror of death.
The reflections presented in this book arise from the themes of the Gospel readings and feasts of the liturgical year.
The book follows the cycle of the church year from easter to Easter. All people sheare one and the same Creator, and His handiwork is present in every human being.
Ancient peoples spoke of this Creator´s deeds around their evening campfires.
The purpose of this book is to serve as such a campfire story, where the children of the Creator of the universe gather around the same fire and warmed by its glow,
find inspiration for their journey toward eternal life.
